Created by David Chase, The Sopranos stars James Gandolfini as New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano, whose criminal life, family conflicts and panic attacks lead him into therapy with Dr. Jennifer Melfi. Edie Falco, Lorraine Bracco and Michael Imperioli co-star in a crime drama combining organized crime with family and psychological conflict. The series won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series in 2004 and 2007 and received 21 Primetime Emmy Awards overall.
