The Way of the Gun (2000) is a gritty neo-noir crime thriller about two drifters who kidnap a pregnant surrogate to extort money from a wealthy couple, only to become entangled with ruthless criminals. Mixing bleak violence, morally ambiguous antiheroes, and sharp dialogue, Christopher McQuarries directorial debut is a cult favorite blending modern noir with hard-edged crime suspense.

Från IMDB:
Two criminal drifters without sympathy get more than they bargained for after kidnapping and holding for ransom the surrogate mother carrying a baby for a powerful, shady man.
