Directed by John Woo in his feature-film debut, The Young Dragons is an early Hong Kong martial arts film starring Henry Yu Yung, Tien Ni and Hu Chin. The story follows gang leader Jin and a government officer drawn into a violent conflict surrounding powerful crime boss Long and his associates. Produced by Raymond Chow and featuring fight choreography by Jackie Chan, the film combines kung-fu action with the criminal underworld themes that would later become strongly associated with Woos work.
