Directed by Gordon Douglas, Them! is a 1950s science fiction horror film centered on giant radioactive ants threatening the American Southwest. The film combines atomic-age paranoia, military response and creature-feature suspense as scientists and law enforcement attempt to stop the spreading threat. It became one of the defining giant monster films of post-war American genre cinema.
