Directed by Ernst Lubitsch, Trouble in Paradise (1932) is a sophisticated romantic comedy starring Herbert Marshall and Miriam Hopkins as a pair of charming thieves who fall in love while plotting an elegant jewel heist. Often cited as a defining example of the Lubitsch touch, the film blends wit, romantic tension, and high-society intrigue. It remains a celebrated pre-Code classic of early Hollywood cinema.
