Force Majeure (2014), directed by Ruben Östlund, follows a Swedish family whose ski holiday in the Alps is shaken after a sudden avalanche exposes a moment of moral failure. What begins as a leisure trip turns into a sharp examination of trust, responsibility, and masculinity.
