Stephen Suscos Unfriended: Dark Web (2018) takes the screen-based horror concept into chillingly realistic territory. A young man discovers hidden files on a stolen laptop, pulling his friends into a deadly game with dark web criminals. Tense and paranoid, the film trades supernatural ghosts for human menace and techno-thriller suspense.
