Directed by John Hyams, Universal Soldier: Regeneration stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren in a military sci-fi action film set within the Universal Soldier franchise. When terrorists seize control of the Chernobyl nuclear facility and threaten global catastrophe, a new generation of genetically enhanced soldiers is deployed to stop them. Combining military action, special forces operations and science fiction concepts, the film returns the franchise to a darker and more tactical style.
