Created by Armando Iannucci, Veep stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, a U.S. vice president navigating political ambition, rivalries and constant dysfunction in Washington. The series is built around fast dialogue, political satire and an ensemble of advisers, staffers and opponents surrounding Selinas career. Veep won the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series three consecutive times, in 2015, 2016 and 2017, while Louis-Dreyfus won six consecutive Emmys for her performance as Selina Meyer.
