Mary Wollstonecraft's famous 1792 treatise is almost unanimously regarded as one of the most important and earliest arguments for the equal treatment of women in terms of civil liberty and political participation. This text also includes a short biographical piece on Mary Wollstonecraft's own life. Wollstonecraft passed in 1797 shortly after giving birth to her second daughter Mary Shelley, famous author of Frankenstein.
