Directed by Frank Capra, You Cant Take It with You is an Academy Award winning comedy about love, individuality, and social conformity during the Great Depression. The film won the Oscar for Best Picture and follows two families whose opposing values collide when a young couple falls in love. Blending warmth, humor, and social commentary, it remains a defining work of Capras humanist cinema.
