Directed by David Koepp and starring Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried, You Should Have Left follows a married couple and their young daughter who rent an isolated house in Wales in an attempt to escape growing tensions at home. The house soon reveals impossible dimensions, disturbing time shifts and an increasingly hostile supernatural presence that forces Theo to confront secrets from his past. Based on Daniel Kehlmanns book, the film combines haunted-house horror with psychological disorientation and an inescapable location.
