Young Hearts (2024) is a delicate Belgian-Dutch coming-of-age drama exploring first love between two 14-year-olds, Elias and his new neighbour Alexander. Set against the lush Belgian countryside, this tender queer romance captures the confusion, fear, and triumph of embracing ones identity in adolescence. With heartfelt performances and a gentle emotional tone, the film offers a fresh perspective on innocence and acceptance in youth.
