Ethan Hawke, Margaret Qualley and Andrew Scott star in this comedy drama directed by Richard Linklater. On 31st March 1943, 'Oklahoma!' opens on Broadway but lyricist Lorenz Hart (Hawke) leaves the performance early to begin drinking. As he converses with bartender Eddie (Bobby Cannavale), he bitterly mourns the end of his creative partnership with Richard Rodgers (Scott) who has moved on due to Lorenz's drinking and unreliability and wrote 'Oklahoma!' with Oscar Hammerstein II (Simon Delaney) instead of Lorenz. Meanwhile, Lorenz hopes to at least succeed in finally winning the love of the much younger Elizabeth Weiland (Qualley) but soon begins to realise that his night is destined to end in complete and utter failure. The cast also includes Patrick Kennedy and Jonah Lees.
