Kristen Wiig co-writes and stars in this comedy directed by Paul Feig. Annie Walker (Wiig) is still reeling from the failure of her bakery business during the recent recession when her best friend Lillian (Maya Rudolph) announces that she is engaged and asks Annie to be her maid of honour. However, she soon discovers that Lillian's other bridesmaids - including Helen (Rose Byrne) and Megan (Melissa McCarthy) - have their own ideas about how best to celebrate Lillian. After arguments, mass food poisonings and trouble on a flight to Las Vegas, Annie is usurped by Helen and is disinvited from the wedding. Can she repair her friendship with Lillian before it's too late? The cast also includes Chris O'Dowd, Ellie Kemper and Wendi McLendon-Covey.
