Torn between his marriage to Tonya and his love for Lara, Yuri struggles to preserve a private life amid political upheaval, displacement and violence. Based on Boris Pasternaks book, the historical romance received ten Academy Award nominations and won five Oscars, including Cinematography, Art Direction, Original Score and Adapted Screenplay.
