Firefly (2002 2003)

Firefly follows the crew of the spaceship Serenity as they take on transport jobs, smuggling runs, and risky missions while navigating the outer worlds of a frontier-like solar system after a civil war. The series blends space-western aesthetics with ensemble character drama, exploring themes of independence, loyalty, and survival on societys margins. Its episodic stories and overarching tensions with the Alliance create a portrait of life aboard a small ship operating far from centralized authority.

Från IMDB:
Five hundred years in the future, a renegade crew aboard a small spacecraft tries to survive as they travel the unknown parts of the galaxy and evade warring factions as well as authority agents out to get them.
