In Caché (Hidden), Michael Haneke lets Georges (Daniel Auteuil), a Parisian TV host, and his wife Anne (Juliette Binoche) unravel under the pressure of anonymous videotapes that quietly watch their home and stir up a buried childhood guilt linked to Frances colonial past. The film blends enigmatic suspense, psychological tension, and social commentary into an unsettling study of surveillance, repression, and responsibility.
