Homeland

Starring Claire Danes and Damian Lewis, is a political espionage thriller about a CIA officer who suspects a rescued U.S. Marine may have been turned by terrorists. Created by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa and inspired by the Israeli series Prisoners of War, the series explores national security, paranoia, and the psychological cost of counterterrorism. Blending intelligence operations, government conspiracies, and moral ambiguity after 9/11, it became one of the defining modern political thrillers.
