Kickboxer: Vengeance (2016)
Directed by John Stockwell, Kickboxer: Vengeance reimagines the original Kickboxer story as a fighter travels to Thailand to avenge his brothers death at the hands of a ruthless champion. The film blends traditional martial-arts training sequences with contemporary action choreography, emphasizing discipline, mentoring, and the emotional stakes of revenge. Its mix of homage and modernized combat design introduces the franchise to a new generation.

Kickboxer: Retaliation (2018)
Kickboxer: Retaliation, directed by Dimitri Logothetis, continues the story as the returning protagonist is forced into an underground fighting circuit dominated by a genetically enhanced opponent. The film blends tournament-style escalation with stylized choreography, focusing on resilience, physical transformation, and the corruption behind elite combat arenas. Its larger scale and expanded stunt work build on the reboot series emphasis on high-impact martial-arts action.
