Directed by Curtis Hanson, L.A. Confidential follows three very different LAPD officers whose investigations into murder, corruption and organized crime begin to intersect in 1950s Los Angeles. Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, Kevin Spacey and Kim Basinger star in this adaptation of James Ellroys book, combining police investigation, corruption and Hollywood-era crime within a dense neo-noir mystery. The film won two Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actress for Basinger and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Från IMDB:
