Directed by Roar Uthaug and starring Alicia Vikander, Tomb Raider reboots the Lara Croft franchise with a more grounded action-adventure approach inspired by the modern Tomb Raider games. The film follows Lara on a dangerous expedition to a remote island connected to her missing father and an ancient tomb tied to supernatural legends. Combining survival-focused action, archaeological mystery and large-scale adventure set pieces, the story draws heavily from the rebooted game series exploration-driven style.

Från IMDB:
Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she discovers the island where her father, Lord Richard Croft disappeared.
