Pitch Black (2000)

The Chronicles of Riddick (2004)
Directed by David Twohy, stars Vin Diesel, Judi Dench, Karl Urban and Colm Feore. The second film in the Riddick series expands the story into an interstellar conflict as Riddick faces the Necromonger Empire and his own mysterious destiny. Combining large-scale science fiction, action and dark fantasy elements, the film significantly broadens the universe introduced in Pitch Black.


The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury (2004)
Animated bridge between Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick in the Riddick film series.
Directed by Peter Chung, features the voices of Vin Diesel, Rhiana Griffith, Keith David and Judi Dench. Set between Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick, the story follows Riddick and the remaining survivors after their escape from the desert planet as they are captured by mercenaries led by the ruthless Antonia Chillingsworth. The animated film combines science fiction, action and creature horror while expanding the Riddick universe.
