Classic silent drama directed by F.W. Murnau. On the South Pacific island of Bora Bora, a young fisherman (Matahi) falls in love with a girl (Anne Chevalier) who has been declared tabu by her tribe. Together, they decide to flee to another island where the boy becomes a successful pearl diver.
