A modern Arthurian adventure rolled into a family-friendly fantasy quest, The Kid Who Would Be King follows a young schoolboy who pulls Excalibur from concrete, uniting classmates and even former bullies to thwart the return of Morgana. Guided by Merlin, they embark on a heroic, magical crusade filled with friendship, destiny, and clever knightly battles, set against the backdrop of a solar eclipse. The film blends fantasy, coming-of-age themes, and humor for an uplifting, accessible retelling of the legend.
