Directed by Tom Shadyac, The Nutty Professor stars Eddie Murphy as Sherman Klump, a shy chemistry professor who creates a formula that transforms him into the confident and abrasive Buddy Love. Jada Pinkett, James Coburn and Larry Miller co-star in this remake of the 1963 Jerry Lewis comedy, with Murphy playing multiple members of the Klump family. The film mixes transformation comedy, body-swap-style identity humor, laboratory science and broad 1990s slapstick.

Från IMDB:
Grossly overweight yet good-hearted professor Sherman Klump takes a special chemical that turns him into the slim but obnoxious Buddy Love.
