Joe Johnstons The Wolfman (2010) resurrects the legendary Universal monster in a lavish Gothic reimagining. Starring Benicio del Toro as a cursed nobleman and Anthony Hopkins as his sinister father, the film blends period Gothic atmosphere with ferocious werewolf horror. With its Victorian setting, grisly transformations, and connection to the classic Universal Monsters legacy, it stands as a modern retelling that honors its 1941 predecessor while embracing darker, bloodier horror.

Från IMDB:
