In Jean-Luc Godards Weekend, starring Mireille Darc and Jean Yanne, a bourgeois couples road trip spirals into chaos as they travel through a collapsing, violent, and absurd society. Through surreal tableaux, political satire, and radical narrative disruption, the film dismantles consumerism, morality, and cinematic convention itself. A furious social and political anti-drama from the height of Godards revolutionary period.
