Andrea Arnolds Wuthering Heights is a raw and atmospheric adaptation of Emily Brontës classic novel, focusing on the destructive romance between Heathcliff and Cathy on the harsh Yorkshire moors. The film presents their relationship through a gritty, sensory-driven style that emphasizes obsession, social alienation, and emotional violence. Shot with natural light and handheld camerawork, it offers a stark reinterpretation of one of literatures most iconic tragic love stories.
