Directed by Henry Selick and based on Neil Gaimans book, Coraline follows an 11-year-old girl who discovers a secret doorway leading to an enticing alternate version of her life, ruled by the sinister Other Mother. Produced by LAIKA as its first feature film, the stop-motion fantasy combines dark fairy-tale imagery with genuine childhood horror. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.
