Alfred Hitchcocks Shadow of a Doubt (1943) is one of his most psychologically unsettling works a quiet small-town thriller about evil hiding in plain sight. When young Charlie (Teresa Wright) suspects her beloved uncle (Joseph Cotten) may be a murderer, suspicion infects their idyllic world. Crafted with Hitchcocks trademark precision, its a masterclass in tension, moral ambiguity, and suburban unease.
