Sharp Objects (2018)

Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée and based on Gillian Flynns novel, this HBO miniseries follows journalist Camille Preaker, played by Amy Adams, as she returns to her hometown to investigate the murders of two young girls. The series uses a fragmented, psychological narrative to examine trauma, memory, and family tension. Its somber tone and atmospheric structure emphasize the interplay between small-town secrets and Camilles internal struggles.
