Directed by Neill Blomkamp, Elysium stars Matt Damon as a factory worker living on an overpopulated Earth while the wealthy elite reside on a pristine space station. As class divisions reach breaking point, a desperate mission challenges the rigid system that separates the privileged from the powerless. Blending high-concept science fiction with large-scale action, the film explores power, inequality, and control in a near-future world.
